Christian turned 4 on February 11th. It was a sad day for me, as he is my "baby". He consoled me with the fact that he will let me hold him even when he is bigger than Mason. That afternoon, and out of nowhere he exclaimed "I'm still little mom!" I guess he thought he would get bigger on his birthday, he sounded relieved to still be little.
As Zach and Mason were working on Mason's pinwood derby car for cub scouts. Mason decided he wanted to paint it gold....well they had already disagreed on the design on the car. (As a parent it's sometimes difficult to let your kids make their own choices, if you know what is better, or in this case faster). Apparently according to Zach, gold is the last color you should paint your car. He tried to tell Mason that it is illegal to have a gold car....didn't work. Turns out gold was the appropriate color as his car won every race. He was a very good sport, every now and then he acts so grown up :)
Kennedy has been a great big sister lately. She plays "doggy day care" with Christian, and even lets him put a leash on her. She has started giving him piggy back rides around the house. Christian has informed me that they are in love. I asked if he was in love with me too, he said, "no, you can only be in love with one person mom". I disagree, I'm in love with all my kids!

Very cute first blog entry! I love it! Now I can really keep up with you guys!
Welcome to the blog world! So cute! I know there will be a day when I get sad that my littlest one is growing up...
That was so cute! Love the castle that Mason did all by himself.. he sure is talented! ;) Good job on the blog. Love the pictures.. the one were Kennedy is posing on Easter looks just like you. Too funny!
WOW Emily I am thrilled that you are back with the blogging. Your family is so darling and I love seeing my neice and nephew grow up. It is so sad that our little ones are growing up I guess we just get to enjoy them while we can. Did you get your hair cut short? Ican't tell in the picture of you but it looks like it-cut however.
Love your background, Em, as well as all the pictures. I was going to say we need a picture of Dad but I see he is there after all...in the background working in the kitchen! Next time I want to see the finished hairdo on Kennedy; the part after the curlers. Thanks for blogging!
Oh yeah, the "doggie day care" is great!
Cute background/design on your blog, Em! More pics? I do love what you do on Facebook, though!
